About Sam.
Sam started at Perks through the CA Program, run by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), in 2007. He spent the next 4 years working as an Undergraduate while completing his Commerce and Law degrees, starting as a full-time accountant at Perks in 2011. His focused and dedicated work ethic, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a client-centric approach soon saw his promotion through the ranks to being appointed as a Director in Accounting Services in 2019.
With a specific focus on the pharmacy and medical industries, Sam has assisted many clients in the key areas of tax compliance, business valuations and restructures, business transactions and assisting clients transition their financial affairs to the cloud.
In addition to his skill and experience in the area of accounting, Sam’s university study of law has given him a grounding which has assisted with the legal side of more complex transactions, such as the sale and purchase of businesses. With a keen eye for detail and his analytical approach, Sam is well-equipped to assist his clients in achieving their goals.
