Perks recognises the importance of having the right blend of expertise on our Group Board, whilst ensuring a smooth transition of the firm’s leadership from one generation to the next.
Joining the Group Board are Kim Bigg, Director, Accounting & Business Services and Simon Wotherspoon, Director, Perks Private Wealth. As part of our ongoing leadership succession planning, Directors Pat Hodby and Simon Hele are stepping down from their positions on the Group Board, after many years of making valuable contributions in driving the Perks strategy. CEO James Black highlighted their significant impact on the firm.

Kim, who joined the firm in 2001, has over 20 years’ experience as a business adviser and was recently appointed as Head of our Accounting business. His accounting and business advisory expertise span a range of industries and he takes a hands-on approach to assisting clients through their financial journeys.
Simon Wotherspoon joined the firm in 2020 after the merge of the Wotherspoon Wealth business. Simon has been committed to offering tailored wealth management strategies for his clients. In addition to joining the Group Board, Simon will be taking over from Simon Hele as the Head of Perks Private Wealth.
CEO James Black said the experience and insight of Kim and Simon will go a long way to further drive the firm’s strategy.

Kim and Simon join the five existing Board members including Executive Chair, Mark Roderick and Directors, Damon Hammond, Anita Allan, Tom Paine, and Neil Oakes.
