Tim Haslam

Over the course of Tim’s career in the accounting profession since 2006, Tim has forged a reputation as a trusted adviser and counsel to privately owned businesses, business owners and their families.

At Perks, he advises and supports his clients with tax compliance and planning, complex tax advice including business structuring and asset protection, real-time management reporting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting and process/systems improvement. He also understands how to harness technology and has helped numerous clients with their digital transformation by implementing customised cloud accounting solutions, providing higher quality and more timely business insights.

Tim is an expert in issues across a diverse range of industries including property, retail and wholesale, professional services, trade, healthcare, wine, sport & entertainment. He has worked in high-profile commercial roles across Sydney and the UK, giving him an innate understanding of the internal motivations and challenges faced by business owners, and has developed an ability to connect and speak their language.

Ultimately, he enjoys sharing the journey with his clients – developing a deep understanding of their business and affairs, navigating challenges, goalsetting, improving margins and profit, building wealth and consistently delivering to help achieve success.

Outside of the office, Tim has a passion for music and playing the piano. He combines this interest and his skills in finance by currently serving as Treasurer and Deputy Chair for non-profit peak body Music SA.

Outside of work, Tim loves a hit of golf, exploring South Australia’s food and wine scene and spending quality time with his wife and young sons.
