Tom Paine

Tom joined Perks in 2000. During this time he has made a significant contribution to the growth and culture of Perks, which resulted in his promotion to the Director group.

Tom prides himself on putting his clients’ needs first by gaining an intimate understanding of their businesses. Knowing the challenges they face allows him to provide tailored solutions around their specific needs.

Drawing on his technical expertise and vast experience, Tom advises on all areas of taxation and accounting, to a wide variety of businesses. Other key strengths include advising in the areas of Cloud Accounting, financial forecasting, asset protection and business structures.

Tom has a particular focus on primary production, thoroughbred racing and breeding, as well as hospitality. With over 16 years’ experience, Tom has developed a high level of knowledge in these areas. Combined with his professionalism and client-centric approach, Tom is sought out to manage clients with needs in these specifics areas, assisting them to over-come business challenges they may face, but more importantly, getting them to places they didn’t know they could reach.

Tom enjoys developing and maintaining relationships with his clients, enabling him to assist them to grow and prosper through their business and personal journey. After many years at Perks, Tom truly appreciates the diverse client base he works with that present him with interesting and challenging work on a daily basis.
